It was considered a rare occasion dat our off day managed to fall on a Sunday together. Finally fulfilled our many many months' wish to have at try the Weekend Morning Breakfast @ Swensens. It was a CHALLENGE sia~ Imagine I woke up at 9 am plus to get ready coz the brkfast svr ends at 11 am sharp.
I ordered the American Hearty Breakfast while he ate the French and Cheese French Toast . Nice ! It is abit oily for the french toast but I tink is definely more filling & worth-the-$ as compared to Mac's brkfast set.
OKIE !~ Another thing in our want-to-do checklist considered DONE ! *Checked*
It was a rainy Sunday so we ended up taking public transport to Orchard. Actually I was felling quite lazy to go anywhere when it was 1 pm plus but he insisited that we must go out coz he wans to see my bday present ... Haha... tink he more determined than I m so we tk mrt to town.
Yesterday I did another Bangkok turn. My 2nd Bangkok turn in a month since the airport reopened. So glad my Solitare pax enjoyed my service in Business Class in just a mere 1.25 hr flight. He even offered to write me a compliment letter. The Best part is he did not even eat anything throughout the flight. Anyway, I m glad that I hv made his day.
The situation in Bangkok is still pretty tensed up. Juz today, new protests were triggered among the supporters of the Old Govt after a new 3rd PM is elected within 4 mths. I cant imagine living in a country where the protesters seem more "powerful" than the police and military.
I am feeling so relaxed now coz I m enjoying my off days from 16-20th, which is my bdae. So happy to get so many off days!~ Requested the off days by utilizing my Performance Recognition (PR) request !~ Could hv use it to request my dream flight, Moscow-Houston but on 2nd tots, I cant imagine myself being away for 10 days plus I m feeling quite drained fr all the "xiong" flights lately. Hmmz....The happiest part I enjoy abt my job is I can get my Bday as an additional off day every year coz is crew welfare, which not most company does that unless u apply for annual leave of coz. But if talking abt the negative points, I muz admit there's a few lahz.. but I m sure every workplace also has its fair share of positive and negative points. Got to tk everything in stride I guess~
