1:03 PM, Tuesday, March 11, 2008Just back fr Bombay & I feel so sickly. Headache, flu, sore throat .... worse still , to add on my pain, the weather suxx. It could be having a downfall outside and the next min, it stopped. Got to meet my sweet bud, Si An , for lunch at JP. Luckily the downpour did not dampen our mood sia.. She was mentioning to me her unhappiness at her current job and she has tendered her resignation le. Then we were discussing abt complaints by patrons. In svc line, it is very common to see complaints and compliments. If customers do not feedback anything, it simply just meant that u r doing everything that is expected of u. But I tink it is rather sad to find out tat ur own management does not support you whenever there is a complaint. At her workplace, the mishandled customer is deemed as their fault. Of coz, I feel it shouldn't be in dis way at all . There ought to be investigation to find out what exactly went wrong so that we all can learn from each other to prevent the same situation from arising again. What shocked me was she told me about a doctor using the word "stupid" on the staff. I feel that is almost or it is verbal abuse le... Being a professional, I thought there are better words than the word" stupid" on the other party.
This proves a point : The level of professionalism does not reflect the level of the person's mentality as well.
Some people just wanna make the rest feel that they have the upper hand. Damn.
Okie.. tired le.. tink i gonna end here...
P.S : Dear Si An, although u gonna quit ur job le, I have confidence that with all ur positive qualities, you would find a better job with a better mght that appreciates what u can give to the company. Jia You !~
