Ok.... Wat a Sunday ~~~

Sigh... mi juz bathed and I logged on to the comp at once. Dun tink I wld b catching up wif any slp later on coz I shld b spending my day wof Dar since he wld b booking in tonite. I m not tat tired bascially . Mayb coz the pax load fr Brisbane to S'pore was okie... Most of dem slpt lik a log anyway... More importantly, it was my team flight and the crew r all super nice & helpful & polite.

As compared to my last shitty team, I muz thanx God tat this "change team" thingy came in time b4 I start losing more & more confidence in this job. The last team I had was simply FULL OF BITCHES & GOSSIPERS !!!

First of all, I muz say I realli do respect my all my seniors for their seniority , no matter they r ranking or non-ranking crew. I dun mind doing all those tiny-weetie stuffs for them coz I always believe in teamwork. But my ex team gers sometimes tok to mi in a "impatient" tone while correcting mi in my way of work. Of coz, I appreciate their guidence and concern in wanting mi to do all the things in the right way. But I certainly feel tat the "impatience" tone is TOTALLY UNCALLED for. We r all fellow collegues so we work as a team. U R NOT MY BOSS OR WAT SO DUN TOK TO MI IN SUCH A F**KING TONE !~~~

Especially one of my female ranking crew which I would not named specifically who she is and wat rank she holding now. On the 2nd flight I worked wif her after flying for ard 5 months. This happened :

Me : ( Walking into the gallery to get a drink for passenger )

Ms C was sitting besides the gallery chatting wif IFS ( Inflight Supervisior = Biggest Boss on the aircraft other than the Captain )

Ms C : ( Turns her head to my direction ) Hmm.... Yan ??

Me : Yah , ?!~ ( Looking puzzled )

Ms C : Are u Graduate ?

Anyway, my mind went blank at that moment before I starting thinking, " Is a Poly grad considered a grad then?"

Well, I decided to be more humble so I replied .....

Me : Well, I m not a graduate. I graduated from a poly.

Ms C : Erm... When someone asks you a question, u should reply with, "Yes? Instead of a
"Yah".....

OH MY GOD !!!~~~ Wat does she tink she was doing? Trying to pick my words?? .. The first thing I realli wanna do was to splash the drink I was holding onto her mushroom head ... Well, even if I m not a grad, I dun tink she is any grad aso . But we all do grad fr the same sch. The Training Centre.

Okok.. I admit my English is onli average. I m not gonna argue wif her . I juz smiled weakly & walked out of the gallery.

Keke.. Morale of the story, although she might haf worked hard enuff to climb up the ranks to where she is now, I think she has forgotten where she came from in the past. All of us would come to this stage where we r still the junior crew & need more experienced fellow collegues to tok to us in a more professional manner. Trying to pick words .. sorrie.. i meant trying to pick on ONE word of a junior crew is not gonna reflect veri gd on she herself too .

That happened mths ago but I juz wanna write it down anyway..

One of my teamgers has already quit liaoz.. her last flight was this team flight to Brisbane wif the team . She has flown for 3 yrs and now she decided to settle for a customer service position at NUH. It was recommended to her by her fren. i tik she is super lucky sia.. the job is onli office hrs and the pay is 2.5 k although she is onli holding a engineering diploma fr a local poly. During lull period, we were chatting and she told mi tat she would certainly missed flying alot as she always find tat this job has the best lifestyle any other job would haf.

She told mi, " Which other job can give u money to juz shop and eat at overseas?"

Actualli I agree wif her to a certain extend. Our job has its pros and cons. The best part is the lifestyle. It has the most off days, the time is totally yours once u rch overseas outstations, no need to bring undone work home to complete , meeting any bad crew or passenger would means onli bearing for 1 sector instead of ur whole work life,...blah.. blah..,etc...

Ok.. ok.. guess tat I m done.. I m not going to advertise for my job. Let's juz take 1 step at a time and I hope life has more gd surprises awaiting 4 mi always somewhere when I least expected dem ....
